I recently picked up another Sonor Designer Series kit. This one is a birch kit in white sparkle lacquer. It has a shallow (22 x 14) bass drum, which has a punchy, direct sound and takes up less space on the bandstand. It's a great sounding kit and is different from the Maple Light Designer kit I already had.
