Spring, 2010: Spring has sprung! Very nice to
have this great weather again. The Project/Object tour was a success, with
great attendance and a really wonderful musical experience for all involved.
They're putting
a European tour together (featuring Ray and Ike again) and I have been asked to
perform again. We're still hammering out the details, so it's a maybe at
this point. Stay tuned!
Winter, 2009: I'm happily reunited with Frank Zappa tribute/alumni band Project/Object and will performing at 14 shows in the Northeast. The tour kicks off with a show at the Sellersville Theater on December 27th and runs through January 10th. We'll be heading as for North as Milwaukee and South to Baltimore. You can read about the Sellersville show here. Complete tour itinerary here.

This tour is extra special, as it features both longtime frontmen Ike Willis and Ray White on lead vocals. I've had the pleasure of both performing and recording with Ike, who is an amazing musician, but I've never met Ray and I really look forward to working with him. The two haven't toured together in 25 years.
I've had to learn several new Zappa tunes in a very short time and it's been quite a journey. Most were tunes I'd never heard before. The band is sounding great and I look forward to the shows.
Fall, 2009: I'm playing with several PA/NJ bands...happy to be playing a variety of music. Check me out with Primitive Soul, CC Coletti, Sarah Ayers Band, Ten Foot Tall Band and the return of Crossroads (southern rock)!
2/09: More gigs on tap with the Sarah Ayers Band this Spring. We have a couple of slots at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, as well as several other concerts and festivals and the usual mix of small club dates. Check out www.sarahayersband.com for the schedule.
I've been working on my studio at home and have gotten what I feel to be some decent drum sounds. Some folks have been sending me tracks needing drums and the results have been great. Drop me a line if you have a tune that needs drums!
I hope to make some progress on my Callaway Scirocco this Spring and should be attending some regional car shows.
2008: The Sarah Ayers Band has released it's newest CD, entitled 3 AM Epiphany:
We also have two new members, Dan Evans on bass and Greg Lipsky on guitar. Greg was the original guitarist and his stuff on the first CD knocked me out. It's great working with these guys and I look forward to a rockin' spring!
Check out the band website for our schedule.
Sciroccos have also been keeping me busy. Check out the Scirocco page for the latest.
Jim
